GOBfest is a non-profit event and would be impossible without volunteers! We can always use more hands on deck. As a volunteer, your benefits include free registration, camaraderie, a volunteer appreciation party, and, of course, massive street cred! 

 

Available volunteer tasks include:

• hosting games (setting up games, explaining rules, and answering questions)

• staffing the registration desk or gaming library

• and more!

Please note that all volunteers must work a minimum of two shifts, which may include setup and/or teardown. They are free to participate in any events of their choice during the rest of the time. Volunteers must also attend a mandatory volunteer training session.

 

If you are interested in volunteering, please obtain a volunteer badge in the Cardboardevents system and select the volunteer shifts you wish to fill. When viewing volunteer shifts, we recommend using the "Slots" view to more easily see the time slots available.

We will reach out to you to confirm your selections or assist you in finding the right fit. FYI, we cannot guarantee that your application will be accepted, but we will do our best!

The volunteer training sessions will be held in the month prior to GOBfest.
